A small group of volunteers are assisting Gnosall Parish Council with a survey of public rights of way within the Parish of Gnosall, including Moreton and Knightley. If you know of any historic path which has not been officially recorded on the County's Definitive Map, please contact the group with details. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or put information in an envelope addressed to PROW Group at the Parish Office. Please give your own contact details.
We are referring to footpaths, rather than footways along roads, and other rights of way such as bridle paths. These must be officially recorded by 2026 or will be lost for ever.
DON’T LOSE YOUR PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY!!
Did you know that there is a time limit for ensuring that all public footpaths and bridleways are recorded on Staffordshire County Council’s definitive map of public rights of way? If this time limit is not met, your rights to walk over parts of the countryside will be lost forever.
Gnosall Parish Council has set up a group of volunteers ensure that all our local rights of way around Gnosall, Moreton and Knightley are properly recorded. If you know of any historic path that is not included at present, please contact the group either
