Pride in Your Patch - Gnosall Win!!
Time for celebrations, at last nights Pride in Your Patch awards ceremony, Gnosall Parish Council was the winner of Action in The Community Award. Recognition was given to the parish council for all the work and projects that make improvements in our parish and bring the community together. In the past 12 months the parish council has (in addition to the day to day duties):
•Completed a neighbourhood plan, the first in the borough•Secured funding for a brand new play area to be built next month •Arranged tea parties for our elderly residents •Worked with the best kept village team -Gnosall is currently the best kept village •Managed a very successful dog fouling campaign -94% reduction over a 6 month period •Set up a brand new youth club- what a success that has been•Assisted a group of volunteers in setting up a new library - great progress being made•Began preparations for next years GFest•Assisted the new Heritage Group - brilliant open day even last week •Arranged a fun fair•Arranged a Christmas lights event (this Saturday)• Published and arranged distribution of over 2000 GMK magazines 3 times during the year
