Exhibition and sale of local crafts

Saturday 22nd July 10am - 4pm Sunday 23rd July 10.30am - 3.30pm

Guidelines for participants

Do you make pottery? Or do woodwork, needlework or other creative crafts?  Are you an artist, jeweller, sculptor or model-maker?  Do you live or work in Gnosall, Moreton or Knightley?  Then why not join in this special showcase event which is a celebration of local creativity.

This will be the fourth Made in Gnosall event, which is held as part of the Gnosall Festival every two years.  We welcome people who make items for either a hobby or as a business.  You can either just exhibit your work, or you can offer it for sale as well.   You are encouraged to demonstrate your skills during the weekend, to add interest for visitors.

There will be a children's Lego Trail competition around all the stalls, with free entry and prizes.  Teas and coffees will be available to buy on both days.  A limited number of display boards will be available for exhibitors on a first come, first served basis, if you need them – these are Velcro type boards.

There is no charge for participation, but if you sell items, you are requested to donate 10% of your takings to GFest for distribution to local projects within the Civil Parish of Gnosall after the event.  This will be collected at the end of the exhibition.

If you want to provide items to exhibit only and are happy to leave your display unattended for the exhibition you can of course do so, but we can take no responsibility for your display, although the event will be manned by the organisers throughout the two days.  If you intend to sell items over the two days then we would also expect you to man your display area for the two days.

You will also be able to leave the displays set up overnight on the Saturday, if you chose to do so.  We accept no responsibility for loss or damage of any items throughout the event or any injury caused to any person. Please make sure your displays are safe.

If you wish to discuss any matters about the event, please contact either:

Mary Booth email marybooth@gnosallparishcouncil.org.uk

or Gnosall Parish Council tel 01785 822685.

If you would like to take part, please fill in the application form as soon as possible and return to: Made in Gnosall, GFest 2017, Gnosall Parish Council, Parish Office, The Grosvenor Centre, High Street, Gnosall, Stafford ST20 0EX.
